Two competitions will get the national spotlight on Thursday evening in NFL preseason sports betting. The running game was nothing special as Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw combined for 63 yards.
Backup Quarterbacks – The Patriots possess Brian Hoyer as their backup to Tom Brady. Because Brady will not play long it will basically be Hoyer’s match. He has been pretty good in relief of Brady in the preseason so the Patriots aren’t despairing. The Giants have a huge issue after Eli Manning leaves the match on Thursday. Their backup is Jim Sorgi but he’s been injured. It has been third-string quarterback Rhett Bomar who has been gaining most of the action. He doesn’t really offer you much assurance. You have to worry about Bomar playing poorly, though you might like to make your bet on the New York Giants in this match vs the NFL preseason lines. It is feasible that Sorgi will return for this match and if so, that could possibly be excellent news for New York since Sorgi will want to play well to make sure he still has the backup quarterback job.
